International food fair at SEGi University College

Kota Damansara : It was crowded around the fair. Music is plays in the background with all kind of food stall. And all surrounds by students and lecturers adding to the crowded atmosphere.
International Food Fair, which fall on Wednesday, Oct 19, 2011 – head in SEGi University College, Kota Damansara. Venue of the event is held in Dictator’s stage where the place crowded by all students and food stall outside bursary.
For the main reason of having international food fair is promoting culture awareness through the food and also conjunction with the International Culture Night. The fair started in 10a.m – 5p.m.
For the main decorative shades, there have American Food, Chinese Food, Kazakh Food, Sudanese & Arabic Food, Bangaladeshi Food, and also Pakistani Food. All the food is cooked and prepared by all international students here in SEGi University College.
The most friendly food stall will be American Food and Chinese Food. In the fair, American Food they sell wedges, burgers and also soft drinks. Besides that, there are also homemade dumplings selling in the Chinese food stall. There are a variety of dumplings, including beef, chicken, vegetables and fruits dumpling. Besides dumplings, the stall do have world famous Chinese noodle from Hubei Pravince, China. The noodle is not only famous in China, but also enjoyed worldwide.
“ Do not miss the opportunity at hand. You can now try out these delicious delicacies here at SEGi Universtiy College, Kota Damansara.” Wong Chun Hua said, a international student from China.
“ My favorite food is the special dumpling sell by Chinese stall because there have verity of dumpling, and I have try the fruit dumpling is delicious and is my first time trying.” Alicia Tan, a students from foundation in science.
This food fair event is to raise fund for the coming International Culture Night held in SEGi University College, Kota Damansara.

There are cheapest and nice food around Kota Damansara/ Dataran Sunway. I would like to introduce 3 places. There are Jojo Little Kitchen Pan Mee, Nasi Kandar Padang Kota and Asian Cafe. Jojo Little Kitchen Pan Mee they branches in Puchong Jaya (opposite IOI Mall, same row as Pizza Hut), Sri Petaling,Kota Damnsara, Serdang, Subang Jaya etc...Jojo's have 18 different Types of Pan Mee. Their specialty is Pan Mee which comes in various styles, like traditional style, loh mee style, chilli, curry. Loved it.

     Besides that, Nasi Kandar Padang Kota Restaurant has a number of outlets in Selangor and other parts of Kuala Lumpur. There are two in Kota Damansara and one at the Mydin Store in Subang Jaya.The familiar dishes are deep fried chicken, beef rendang, assorted veggies, roti canai and its related cousins, tosai, naan and a variety of curries.It is the atmosphere inside the Padang Kota restaurant that sets it apart from other establishments that basically have the same menu.

      Apart from the ubiquitous teh tarik, “kopi-keras” and Neslo, fruit juices of numerous combinations are also part of its beverage lists. I normally opt for hot Milo and occasionally teh tarik.The emphasis and this, one must stress vocally to the waiter, is “kurang manis”, otherwise you may just be a victim of sugar-overload.The item at its Kota Damansara branch which constantly has my attention is its beef rendang. It is better than most places that offer the same deal.It all boils down to who is in the kitchen. Even though Nasi Kandar Padang Kota has multiple branches, the taste in its selections varies from outlet to outlet.

    Asia Cafe is open at Kota Damansara, it is open for 24 hours.It is located along Persiaran Mahagoni , Kota Damansara . It is opposite of The Strand and Dataran Sunway and Sunway Giza Mall.So far , the stall that open at Asia Cafe Kota Damansara are Nasi Lemak stall , the famous Ho Chak Chicken Chop rice , prawn mee , and a few more.

The easy way to make delicious Spaghetti

Since bored with food at canteen, why not just try out with own recipe to cook a cheap food for ourself. Today try to intro a special food for everyone. Just to prepare the sausage, spaghetti and the spaghetti sauce. 


Follow the below steps:


Firstly, cut the sausage into to small pieces. Then put one by one spaghetti into the sausage. Boil a bow of water, then put in all the sausage with the spaghetti. It's take around five to eight minute to cook, at the same time we can start cook the sauce. You can put whatever you like into the sauce, it's take around three minute to complete the sauce. Finally ,just pour the sauce on top of the sausage with spaghetti.

"ROJAK" Tour

In the previous post, we had interviewed some college student about the cafe food. Today, we would like to bring you guys for find some delicious food around KL. Let's watch the video!

  
   Let's follow my step. We reached a place was a Banglo house with few stall inside which is "Rojak" stall and others. The main purpose to bring all to taste the "Rojak", heard from some friend said they create own recipe for the sauce. Another famous food was the "Taufu bakar". When I'm put it inside my mouth ,just feel like the sauce taste good and they use with fresh fruit. I'm can't stop my hand to keep put all into my mouth, because it's too tasty. Never taste so nice before, secondly were the "Taufu Bakar". Oh my god,never taste so crunchy taufu before. Actually I'm the one hate the taufu the most but this make different. It's build a good image after tasted.

what do you think about SEGi University College Cafe food

   Food... My favorite,yours favourite and actually were everyone favourite. Some of student might having same problem,headache with food. What make them headache? Price? Taste? Or headache what to choose as our meal,mee or rice? That day we purposely went SEGi had a short interview with them and got to know more student thinking. 
   Once reached the college ,you will feel the crowd. From there to know,canteen are play an important role for every college student. Started our interview with a guys gang,they show that college canteen food taste good enough. During having the interview with them, you can feel how unsatisfy with the price too. Amount of all,might some of student will rather had their meal at out. 
   Outside food are taste good and big portion even the price is almost same with outside. Of course, actually not as bad as you think. Even not satisfy with the food of SEGi but will choose to stay had a meal because canteen are nearby student. Canteen for a student are not only for take their meal but its also for student resting and chilling place while waiting for the next class. Even SEGi parking harder to get it, but a lot of student still think drive out to had their meal. Now, lets check out what they'd said about canteen food.
